Be Cool: Be Thrifty
You don’t have to follow the crowd and spend lots of cash. By saving your money you’ll be unique – which is way more cool! And saving your extra money with us will make you even cooler.
If you want to buy an expensive toy or take a trip to the amusement park, but can’t afford it, you might feel sad. But saving money and being thrifty can be just as fun!

Good for Mother Earth
Pinching your pennies can help save the planet. How? If you buy things that have already been used, from a place like a thrift store or a garage sale, they won’t end up in a garbage dump. It also saves on plastic and other things that are needed to make a brand-new toy or gadget. What can you buy used? Pretty much anything! Video games are much cheaper when you buy them used, and so are books and music. A toy that another kid has outgrown could become your favorite toy!

Fun – and Thrifty – Activities
The amount of fun you have playing with your friends doesn’t depend on how much money you spend. You can have just as much fun riding your bike around the neighborhood as you can spending quarter after quarter at the arcade. Play a board game with your family or invite a friend over to build a fort. For your birthday, have a sleepover and rent movies instead of having an expensive party. There are lots of ways to have fun for less money!
